Thanksgiving merges to Christmas

We can’t quite believe that we’ve been here for 4 months already.  We’re missing everyone loads but the video calls on Skype make it bearable.  If you don’t have a webcam yet, then you should try it - it’s great and we can give you a guided tour.

And so suddenly the ‘Holiday’ season was here in force (who said the economy is in trouble?).  First we had the experience of our first Thanksgiving in the USA.  It’s like christmas (the family, the turkey) but without the quirks (presents, the Queen’s speech, re-runs of James Bond).  And it’s nice to be out in a t-shirt at the end of November.

This weekend we’re getting ready for Christmas.  The tree is up and decorated.  Yesterday we went to the parade in downtown Chapel Hill.  The children were thrilled to discover that it mainly involves coming home with bags of candy.

So, it just remains for us all to wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.  Please keep in touch and we hope to see/speak to you soon.

Lots of Love
